How to bring yourself out of Worry!

Action Ship 8.25.11 Worry

Woah, well I finally got this week’s Action Ship to you… and this one is….

Special!

I actually filmed it before we had the earthquake, and knew of the hurricane that is now heading down the East Coast towards NY. And so the past few days have been spent adding some special extras to this week’s

Not only are there some special extras in this week’s video, but also I am debuting some NEW Franklin Band Moves (with 2 FranklinBands!)

I have to apologize about the sound quality in this video… I am still learning how to not blow your ear drums out, and the sirens didn’t help! But, I hope you will see the parallel with the topic in hand!

This week’s Action Ship gives you my secret to side-step worry! (and watch out for the guest appearance!)

Let’s be honest and look at how much we are controlled by our thoughts. Even if you know better, it can be easy to fall into their trap. Don’t let them get the better of you!

Try this week’s Action, and let me know how you get on. Please write a comment with your personal story on what you worry about and how you pull yourself out of that place after this simple reminder….

(You might want to TURN your SOUND DOWN! ~ Sorry about the sound quality… I’m working on it!)

Stay safe if you’re in the storm, and see you next week!

Love, Laura

I just watched this for the second time, just after re-watching pituitary tapping (2nd time).
I’m going through a difficult time at the moment and these two exercises, which I’ve been doing every day, are helping tremendously. Together with my meditation (which I’ve resumed after a long absence) I’m able to keep on, or get back to a more even keel and quieter state-of-mind to take care of what I need to do.
I don’t always have the amount of time I’d like to have, but any amount helps.
    Thank you Laura!
PS: I also tap my cortices and pituitary during the day, as well as say a “Thank You” to Spirit every time I become anxious and the “bad tape” is on a loop!

Hi Judith. Thanks so much for letting me know how these videos are helping you. That is fantastic- and really my motivation. I understand how life and our ‘process’ can be challenging an how essential it is to have a grounding connecting energy to tap into. We all have it within us, but often we need support to remember that, feel it and trust it in ourselves.
Keep me posted on your progression :)
      Much love, Laura

    Laura,
This is so fabulous! This makes me feel like the growing list of things to accomplish isn’t so scary anymore! Approaching tasks (especially one’s that require sitting at a computer) feel more exciting than daunting after moving around, and especially after doing FM.

Needed this. Onto accomplish my list!
    Love,
    Lydia

Hi Laura, nice video! I loved the animations, too cute ;o)
Worry is something that gets glued to us as soon as we are distracted by the rhythms of the day. Your statement is very true and taking action, living in the now is the best action ship. ;o) Are the bands for dancers only? Are you coming to miami any time soon to teach Franklin method? love and blessings. ML

Loved it! and the special guest too :) It reminded me to breathe and stretch and just move right now. Even the little bit of twisting and extending my arms right out helped so much.

    Thank you!

    Dear Laura,
Thank you for the Action Ship series-great topics
and excellent suggestions in each video segment.

Appreciated the demonstration of the Franklin
Ball exercises in this video above.

Will there be a dvd soon for the Franklin
Ball exercises? It would be most welcomed!

(Please stay safe in the storm…)

    Hi Laura,
Thank you for the video on ‘worry’. Yes, even with the shifts and understanding through BodyTalk and Breakthrough, I still get caught up in worry, especially with how the world is right now. Am I right in understanding that when we feel our mind taking over, that we actually get up and do some exercise? I wondered if you meant doing some mindscape kind of exercise where we mentally focus on our organs and bodyparts?

Anyway, thank you for everything you are doing, I love your energy. Glennis xx

      August 27, 2011 | 3:27 pm

HI Glennis. Both works. In this video, I am talking more about the simple act of doing some movement/ exercise that brings you back into your body, and out of the thoughts… but this can go much deeper. I may actually do a follow on to this topic next week that goes into greater detail. And how that relates to the body parts, organs and thoughts… And how and why movement becomes the meditation that keeps us in the present moment. The first step is the simple act of doing it, and then we can take ti further and further…! Stay tuned for more info next week.
Thanks for your support. Glad you like it! Laura xxx
