Are you ready to lean down the hill with me!?
“Weeeeeeeeee…….(turns into)… AAAAhhhhhhhhh!!!… get me outta here!?”
What happened!?
Ever been excited to be heading in the direction of your dreams, and then as if by some sneaky trick, the thing that you were so excited about becomes your biggest fear?
It can be challenging having a mind that likes to come up with all kinds of pictures (that often aren’t true)!…but what we often don’t realize is how tangibly they are affecting our physical body!
(and then of course the outcome)
Get ready for a mind-body-shifting ride down a snowy mountain with me and the Action Ship!
In the comments, tell me what happened after you practice this exercise
Enjoy the ride, and I’ll see you on the hill :)
With love
Laura xo

Laura!
Too cool to see you snowboard and get more of a picture of what you love. Those are some really steep hills!!!
Before my three days of processing my fear 3 times a day. I wanted to say a couple words…
1. One of my biggest current fears was watching your actionship videos, writing my comments everywhere, sharing and liking.
2. I LOVED the connection to MSM, such a powerful illusion. Thanks for making a connection to something I’ve tangibly known, felt and taught in Franklin Method workshops.
Thanks Laura! And I’ll be getting back to you!
love,
Emily x
Hi Em! Oh wow, well, it looks like you’ve gotten over that fear, as you have obvioulsy fully experienced these and leaned down the hill to write such beautiful comments! Yes, I agree, the tangible sensation is essential and incredible!… it’ was great to apply it to life experiences too!
Yes, let me know how it feels…!

Hi again Laura!
Overcoming my fear of watching, commenting and liking your videos on all channels felt marvelous and opened up a new dimension for experience!
The feeling of successfully leaning down hill then opened up other areas of my life fear was entering in which could be empowered by “fully leaning down hill” and opening myself up to the experience.
Thank you Laura once again for these marvelous actionships of yours and for YOU!
Much love,
Emily x
Hey Laura,
Really enjoying your videos, even though I am a bit behind in watching them. Perfect timing, right!
Well I am wanting to teach the self-massage techniques I have developed and have found ways of avoiding doing it for three years. I am going to start using your suggestion and see what happens.
Thank you for the inspiration and invitation to give it a go!!
Truly, KimJoy (KJ)
that’s great TJ! I can’t wait to hear more :)
Yes Laura, my unimagined left arm was definitely feeling heavier. What a shock. I’m gonna definitely use this imagination technique in my pirouette work (still falling). Yes Danica, me too! And I don’t know where my foot goes to, but I don’t think it’s the side of my knee. So now, I’m really gonna visualise first. The only outcome I’m gonna see is balanced success…with a smile.
Thank you for reminding me of my super powers.
HI Babs! You are so cool! I can’t wait to hear how it helped your pirouettes…. and I have some more pirouette insights coming for you sooooon~ Love Laura xxxoxo
This is great – I hope it will help me with pirouettes! I struggle sooo much with turning – it’s like an out-of-body experience when I turn. My brian goes into panic mode and at the end of the turn all I know is that it didn’t work! but I don’t know what went wrong, and so I don’t know how to start fixing it. All I have are comments like, “hold your arms higher. put more energy into it. turn out your passe more.” and then it gets even worse because I’m trying so hard to focus on that check-list that I can’t relax, and since turns are over so quickly, I have no chance! I’m hoping this will allow me to just shut off my panicky over-thinking, stay calm, and have more fun instead of being so frustrated all the time!
Hi Danica :) I know exactly what you mean!! I used to have the very same struggle with piroettes! It’s so frustrating when everything you are told doesn’t help- or even makes it worse. And then we end up practicing the feeling of doing it ‘wrong’ or it feeling ‘bad.’
So, yes, try practicing it in your mind, imagining the joy of the turn. See if you can allow yourself to fully go into the experience. To experience the turn- however it turns out!!
I have a lot more I can share on this subject! If you want to write me a question on my Facebook wall, then maybe I can make you an Action Ship going deeper into this…
Let me know how you get on ‘leaning down the hill!’
:) Laura xo
wahoo! so awesome. I was in the feeling of leaning down the hill after watching your video and it reminded me of the joy that comes with it :)
Thank you Laura. The Action Ships are always the perfect reminders :)

Emily
Thank you for this Action Ship! It left me feeling released of fear and resistance ~ more open, flowing, integrated and galvanized ~ ready to fully lean down the hill and fully commit to the imaging the processes and outcomes i want to experience in my life! Thank you Laura! xoxo
Thanks Ford!! Yay! so happy you experienced that so fully <3 xxxx
Laura – I could totally relate to your snowboard video this week. I have gone snowboarding a handful of times and I still want to lean back. It is a vulnerable feeling to fully lean on that front foot. That is exactly how I feel sometimes when I am trying to start something new. That vulnerable feeling takes over and I feel myself fighting it. I am excited to visualize trusting myself in my new ventures. Thank you for your inspirations. Liz Paris
thanks Liz! yes, we all need to be reminded to lean into experiences! love to hear how your go :) xox
