Anger Issues. Simple Process to Release Anger.

Action Ship - Anger Issues. Simple process to release anger.

I’m excited to be heading back up to Vermont this weekend to get some more snowboarding action and ‘leaning down the hill’ and ‘fully committing’ practice!

This week we are going to fully commit to transforming another emotion…

It was interesting. I checked out some YouTube vids on what was the common advice for this topic and…

Well, you’ll have to watch and find out if you are settling for these strategies that might leave you feeling bewildered rather than transformed!

Thanks to Karin who posted this week’s topic request on my Facebook page. Have you seen the juicy topics being discussed there? Come on over there now and post your current health of life challenges and maybe I will make an Action Ship video just for YOU!

After you jump in your Action Ship and watch the video, write me a quick message in the comments and let me know what changes in your body mind.

Have a great weekend and lets chat on Facebook!

Much love :)

Laura xoxo

Hi Laura! Thanks for talking about this. My work is very physical and often brings up a lot of fear. This fear sometimes turns into anger, especially when I’m working with a partner. I’ve tried a lot of breathing exercises to try and manage this response with limited success. I really like your visualization, practicing it just now filled me with calm. I’m looking forward to putting it in to practice this week while I’m working! Hopefully this exercise will help me to focus on the root of my emotion instead of acting on my anger.

Hi again Laura. Thank you so much for doing this video on anger-issues. As I can read from the comments, I was not the only one in need of a different and more loving approach on how to get past them :o) So of course, now whenever I feel overwhelmed, I pause and think and connect with my heart. There’s still work to be done, but this gentle ‘trick’ plus the tapping on my head is really doing wonders. I remind myself, that to me, blockage is life that wants to be lived, so this is my key-word now. And so ‘anger’ has become a gift, that keeps me going in a direction that feels good for ME! Much love
    Karin.
p.s. Am so excited about this, that I’m attending a BodyTalk Access course here in Denmark :o) Can’t wait.

I am delighted that you have noticed such a big shift, and I really can feel how it’s opened up a big expanse inside you! “And so ‘anger’ has become a gift, that keeps me going in a direction that feels good for ME! ” This is beautiful & SO true.

Thank you again from the movement of my heart resting on my diaphragm :) & I am excited to hear you get on with BT Access there in Denmark! Say hi to everyone from me and I’d love you to post about it on my fb wall! (and if anyone else from the class wants to share their insights or has questions, I’d love to hear them)

    Hi Laura,

Thank you so much for this video. I felt the movement of my heart so tangibly in the body and it felt amazing. Completely freed up my neck and brought a new sense of ease to my shoulders. Then a fabulous tingling all over my body and increase in my awareness.

I really appreciate YOU and the fact you made this video to share with this fabulous web of the internet. :) Thank you!

Anger is a very powerful emotion, learning to not let it take over one’s person is an even more powerful action and belief.

    Much love,

    Emily xo

    Thanks Laura,
I really love your gentle approach to this subject. I’ve learned over the years to accept my emotions, to feel them, and what gifts they are for learning about yourself. I find that writing how I feel on some occasion to be a healthy outlet and insights always comes from this exercise. It may be that my perception is wrong or right; or an old belief that is no longer useful; can I change something or is it simply what it is and I need to accept it. It’s not about the story – it’s about discovering how you `tick`, who you are, how you’d like to better yourself, all the while being gentle and loving towards yourself. As you said, we are here to learn and to experience life. I like the image of the heart moving up and down like a wave in sync with our breathing. It is very freeing as the constrictions melt away and make space for insights to come through.

    Un grand merci,
    Linda

Hi Linda. That is a great insight- write to ‘see how you tick’. I’m happy to hear about your freeing, melting feeling with the riding of the heart! :) xo

I LOVE this video. It really made me stop judging moments of anger and rather embrace them, to use those emotions to better connect with myself, others, and the moment. Thank you for your beautiful insights. I can already feel a shift!

    Hi, Laura!
I’ve been enjoying your weekly Action Ships–you always seem to come up with a simple way to deal with what looks very complicated! So thank you for all the effort and love you put into making them for us.

Since I don’t do FB or videos (yet?) I wanted to ask you here if you have any suggestions for an Action Ship on Leg Cramps–the kind that wake you up at night, sometimes several times. I’m curious as to what triggers them, because it doesn’t always seem to be the same things, as well as how to deal with them when they start. Any ideas?

    Your friend, Margaret

      HI Margaret

Yes, I can certainly give you some insights into this one and some simple things that you can do to prevent it. I know that many people suffer with the discomfort of this and can feel helpless, and not know what to do.

Can you tell me Margaret, how long have you been experiencing this? Can you describe the feelings? What is your current strategy for dealing with it? Can you describe your thoughts in a little more detail?

Thanks and I look forward to helping you with this.

And I’m so happy that you love the Action Ships and that they are creating so much support and change (in lives and body’s!)! It keeps me inspired to keep creating them :)

      With love
      Laura
