Dance as High as the Sky!!

Dance as High as the Sky!!

This weeks’s action ship, we’re going UP!

As high as the sky!

To dance at the top of the EMPIRE STATE BUILDING!

When you get stuck in your house, in your room and all you can see are your walls and your windows, you’ll get stuck in this limited perspective!

Dance is the language that unites us all. It is free from words and limits… and brings you back into your body.

So get your dancing shoes on and shake your bootie at the top of the Empire State Building where you can see a different perspective and feel as high as the sky!

Madeline Haywood “After watching the Girl Walk All Day videos you posted I actually got inspired to start dancing again which I haven’t done in a long long time. Now it is a part of my daily routine to get up and dance for a while and I have just been so much happier than I’ve been in a long time so seeing this video has encouraged me to continue :) So next time you see Anne Marsen let her know that she is such an inspiration!!!”

Make sure to LIKE and COMMENT on this video if you got inspired and if you enjoyed watching it.

i was talking to someone last week about having a dance-funk mix to play at work for a spontaneous dance break midday at work :) This is perfect. You’re amazing lovely Laura! see you soooooon!

The dancing looked like a blast, Laura, but what I was most struck by was how friendly the workers at the Empire State Building were. I’ve been doing a lot of whining (in my head) about how cranky everyone’s been around town the last week/week and a half and how if this is how they’re going to behave I’m simply staying home until after Christmas. Now you’ve got me wondering if the solution all along was just to do more dancing ;-).

    Thanks for sharing this!

    • HI Jessica :) It’s so funny that you noticed that, because it was quite a joke when we were up there that the guards kept telling us to stop dancing!! We had to keep moving around, and being nice to them… and then they didn’t care too much! But the thing is that, I think they all thought it was really cool and funny- but they were afraid of their boss! Whoever that is!? They said there are cameras up there, and they couldn’t be seen to be dancing! Strange (for me) but true!! The truth is, I think everyone wants to dance and feel free, but it’s just a voice in their head that says it’s not ok, for whatever reason. The more we can just dance and be free, the more people realize they can too! SO, yeah, go pass on the love :) Dance dance dance!! And let me know how it goes! xoxox

    Love, Love, Love so much!

That day was so amazing and I feel so blessed to be apart of the adventure especially on my birthday! :)

Absolutely love the video too! Perfect with the music and everything! :) Truly inspiring!

You and this past year of learning and growing so much has inspired me more than I can say. As I travel home for the first time since last Christmas, I realize that dancing on the Empire State Building and this video truly was the best send off and reminder of this past year for my first (almost scary) visit home.

I’m continuing to dance across the country (and meeting lots of people :) ).

So marvelous just to move and dance, no matter where you are!

Dance truly is the universal language!

Yay for life, love and sharing joy with those around you!

    Thank you Laura!

    xoxo Emily

    Dear Laura,

You have made me late for work … again. I was checking my email to see if I had any pressing emails from engineering clients, and there was your Action Ship email enticing me to open it. Of course, I was powerless to refuse. I watched it and then forwarded it on to my surogate sister, Judy, in Cincinnati. She too is a dancer, and she owns her own dance studio. She will, doubtless, send your Action Ship video on to her students.

However, now I am late for work, and it’s all your fault.

Thank you, sweetheart for all that you do. You certainly make a big difference.

    Hugs and kisses,

    myke., A.R.
