How To Run (and Prepare) a Retreat

Have you ever wanted to host a retreat?

Retreats are one of my favorite parts of my business — I get to work with my clients live, in-person in amazing spaces for 2, 3, even up to 5 days. There’s a magic there that you just can’t get on the internet!

But they can be intense. Some retreats, like the one I just lead in for my Universal Health Principles trainees, are 5 full days of intense mind-body training with 30+ people.

Holding space for that many people can be challenging. Everyone is having their own experience. Their own shifts. Working through their own challenges.

It’s really important as a leader to take care of YOU.

    Excellent tips!!! Such a great reminder….no matter what class you are running or retreat you are holding, to be able to remember what YOU yourself needs too, so that you can be super present with everyone!!!!
