Studying? How to learn faster & more efficiently without getting squished by the pressure.

Emielieke asked: “How to support yourself when you study a lot for exams, feeling this ‘pressure’ to achieve… energy is getting lower…how to feel the spontaneity of: let’s do it just do it! Go with the flow! get the maximum out of it :) ”

I remember of so well what it feels like to have to ‘cram’ for exams. I can’t say I was ever that good at it. Somehow it always felt like there was something that didn’t fit! Was it my brain? How can all this information ‘fit’ up there?

Now years later, I know that memory is not all crammed ‘up there’ and that there are other far more efficient ways of accessing information and brilliance.

This doesn’t mean that you never have to study again, but a simple shift in perspective on what it means to recall information and how that relates to your life and survival can create massive changes.

And, remember that you actually learn far better when you are in a state of relaxation!

Thank you Laura! I already commented on your LAHF Facebook page, and I want to add that I really agree that there are a lot of more efficient ways to EMBODY the information, cause I experienced it. For me it was difficult to transform the tricky mind that was telling me: you are tired, you have to learn, you can not absorb all these info blablabla. Mind: ‘HA so… you will not be well-prepared for the test.’ So grateful that my inner self did not agree with this ‘mind-talk’ and I gave it a try to let the books the books for a while and ENJOY things like cycling/have a little sleep/dance outside. A moment of surrender and letting go of the need to study fulltime…
The afternoon before the exam was miraculous –> feeling clear and had access to my intuition. Emielieke: it will be great if you draw all the bladder points, and relate this to the lumbar spine etc. YES I learned the good things! The feeling I imagined, became reality on THE testday!
So… for next exam this week I will practise this again, the mind can become more silent and my intuition can feel free to do what is good in that moment.
